Social Entertainer and Dancehall/Raggae act, Yinka Lawanson popularly known as Lamboginny took to the stage as the headliner of the African Music Festival /Concert at the Norfield Congregational Church ground in Weston, Connecticut, US as part of his SALT Album tour.
The concert which is Lamboginny’s first international concert was powered by Norfield Congregational Church and Obey fashion, and it left behind with people some great and unforgettable moments to cherish.
Lamboginny released his debut album, SALT in September, 2017 and is notable for performing his songs for prison inmates which fetched him a honourary appointment as a national ambassador for the prisons service. In a chat with the Punch, on why he introduced music as a therapy in Nigerian prisons, he stated:
“The truth is that I love peace and this is my own little contribution to try to see how I can make my country and my continent a better place. We can’t all sit back and point fingers to say those are the people who are supposed to do it. ”
